New fittie down on the farm!

Kurtis Stacey as Alex RossTemperatures are set to rise again on Emmerdale - no Henshall isn't back from the dead with a box of matches. Its all because there's a gorgeous new farm hand coming to the Dales that is going to get the ladies hot and bothered.

Alex Ross gets a job working at Butlers Farm after being recommended to John Barton by worker Andy Sugden after John's son Adam quits.

Alex, played by Kurtis Stacey, is hard worker but a bit of a player. He catches the eye of John's daughter Hannah Barton, Amy Wyatt and Victoria Sugden to name but a few.

This is Kurtis' first major TV role after appearing briefly in Waterloo and Crimewatch. He has made many stage appearances as well as parts in two short films.

Kurtis graduated from Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts and trained at Hugh Baird College gaining a BTEC diploma in Performing Arts as well as being part of the Liverpool Network Theatre.

His resume says his 'skills' include many sports such as boxing, swimming, football and cycling as well as being able to sing and dance so he's obviously fit...in the physical sense!

Let's hope for a heat wave this summer, eh ladies!
