One of the youngest members of the community, Noah is a good kid considering his start in life. Born in prison when his mother Charity was serving time for killing his father Chris (who actually poisoned himself), Noah was initially raised by his Aunty Zoe until Charity was released. He is well-behaved and inquisitive.

Jack Downham

Young Jack Downham arrived in the dales as Noah Tate with mum Charity in 2009, and was in the DVD spin-off The Dingles: For Richer, For Poorer.

He is the little boy in the Whiskas advert and had a role in Heartbeat in 2009. He also appeared as the young Robin in the 2010 film version of Robin Hood starring Russell Crowe.
