Cameron and Debbie have been through some turbulent timesCameron Murray arrived in the village after tracking down his mistress Debbie Dingle to tell her that he has left his wife and kids in Jersey to be with her. At first Debbie told him she wanted nothing to do with him but he soon wore her down and she couldn't resist her feelings for him any longer.

He lives with Debbie and Sarah and despite seeming like a decent bloke, managed to rub some of the villagers up the wrong way - namely Carl King, Andy Sugden and fellow Tug Ghyll resident Cain Dingle. As if it wouldn't be hard enough having the notorious Dingle as your (almost) father-in-law...

When Debbie's daughter Sarah was diagnosed with a genetic disease, Cameron stood by Debbie's decision to have a baby with her ex Andy Sugden by artificial means to create a 'saviour sibling'. But things weren't that easy and eventually Debbie went behind Cameron's back and got pregnant the old fashioned way.

Cameron found out when Andy revealed the truth in a misguided attempt to get Debbie back and for a minute there it looked like Cameron was heading back to Jersey but he decided to stay.

Things haven't been easy for Cameron and Debbie and in amongst the ups and downs, Cameron formed an attraction to Debbie's auntie Chas Dingle. Temptation proved too much for them both and they are now having a secret affair. But this is soap land and we know what happens to secrets...

Dominic Power

Dominic Power as Cameron MurrayDominic had roles in Grange Hill, Casualty and Doctors before landing his first major TV role in The Bill in June 2008 and remained until the long-running series ended in August 2010.

After The Bill, Dominic filmed small roles in Bollywood film Tezz and The Impossible, starring Ewan McGregor, both currently in post-production. He became a member of the Emmerdale cast in March 2011.

Dominic attended the Anna Scher Acting School in Islington and the Miskin Theatre in Dartford, where he was both a student and teacher.
